We are an award winning practice working across a wide range of scales and building types including housing, domestic extensions, industrial buildings, historic building conversions and buildings for leisure and adventure. Managing Director, Neil Taylor founded TAP in 2010 and has overseen the output of the practice since then, winning the RIAS Emerging Architect of the Year Award in 2017. Neil graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 2001, with First Class Honors and the Glasgow Institute of Architecture prize. He obtained his professional qualifications at London's South Bank University in 2005 and has been a visiting tutor at Newcastle University since 2016. Based at the Shore area of Leith.

Our team have a wide range of skills in matters of planning and design, contract administration, cost analysis and project and design team management. We provide comprehensive and accurate advice from the earliest stages of a project through to completion. Using the most current 3d drafting technology we immerse ourselves in the details of construction, utilizing sustainable materials and construction techniques and through collaboration with a range of design consultants, specialists and suppliers we ensure that our proposals that are rigorous and meet the highest standards of efficiency.

We are dedicated to the highest standards of management, encompassing all elements of communication, administration and time keeping to ensure that our projects are run according to schedule and to budget. The practice is Royal Institute of Architects Scotland (RIAS) chartered and Architects Registration Board (ARB) registered.
