Built in 1900, The Square is located amidst the stunning scenery of the Dunira Estate, west of the Perthshire village of Comrie.

The project focuses on the northern wing of The Square, which had fallen into disrepair. The upper and a lower storeys are to be seperated into individual apartments, each occupying a floor of a new extension constructed in the rear garden. The existing building interiors are to be stripped back to the original stonework before being refurbished and large, arched openings to the courtyard facade are being reinstated.The character of the extension is contemporary, but sits sympathetically in relation to the context with strongly defined gable ends in white timber cladding, punctuated by large, simple glazed openings. 

Planning consent was obtained in early 2019, with completion of the works in mid-2022
